Supporting all Records Management activities.
Participate in QMS related activities and projects as assigned in support of achieving company goals and objectives.
Developing, administering and maintaining quality assurance procedures and activities required to ensure that the company’s processes and products adhere with applicable quality standards and requirements.
Ensure records are properly controlled, preserved, and retained throughout their life cycle in accordance to retention criterion.
Perform various records control activities involving both paper and electronic format, which include but is not limited to inventorying records; generating acceptable true electronic copies (converting paper to electronic); maintaining a complete and accurate records inventory; perform long-term preservation activities; manage and perform off-site records storage activities; etc.
Utilize and maintain electronic records software applications on a daily basis; ensure document and data integrity based on ALCOA concepts.
Work with training personnel to establish compliant Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for records; help enforce GDP principles across the site.
Ensures external and internal audit readiness; provides support during all quality audits and inspections – will be the primary records lead.
Establishes and assures adherence to schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
Measures and monitors records management progress/metrics to senior management.
Cross train in to other QMS areas as assigned, including Document Control activities to provide backup support.
