Duration: 6 months with potential to convert to PERM
Location: Wendell, NC
• In charge of bringing the entire Wendell, NC facility under the ISO 9001:2015 umbrella
o There are currently multiple business units that are undergoing a merging activity
o In addition, new products are entering the equation
• Ability to lead discussions with all stakeholders and perform gap analysis
• Implement all documentation to ensure gaps are closed and standard is properly met
• Audit all implemented activities for both ensuing adherence as well as record keeping
• Will be responsible not only for implementation of new documents but updating and maintaining existing documents as well
• Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, etc. to ensure Quality practices are properly impended for all new product lines
o This will include topics such as: Tool Calibration, Equipment Maintenance, Quality Checklists, Visual Aids, etc.
o Training as needed on implemented Documents and Processes
o Document Retention
• Process Improvement Specialist for the Team
Responsibilities
• The main responsibility of this associate is to ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance for the entire Wendell Operation. This will be achieved by taking the existing certification and adding all applicable processes in order to pass an external certification audit
• In addition, this Quality System must be maintainable for future success
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Typically, 2-5years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• 4-year Engineering Degree a plus
• Sap and Salesforce.com a plus
• Certified Quality Auditor a plus
