Calix is looking for an Oracle Business Systems Analyst to support our Order Management group as it transitions from a predominantly premises-based set of systems to a more cloud-based approach (e.g. Oracle ERP Cloud, e-commerce). Reporting to the Manager of the Order Management team, the candidate will be working closely with colleagues in Order Management, Customer Operations, IT, Sales Operations, Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit and Financial Planning & Analysis to driving best practices and implement significant improvements to Calix’s current business processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. A core part of the role will be to serve as the lead or key contributor to understanding the overall OM business process needs. This will include creating business cases, defining the business requirements, using various approaches such as use cases and then decompose the requirements to a sufficient level of detail allowing the IT team to take the next step action in developing new Oracle ERP E-Business Suite enhancement features.
Qualifications:
· Lead internal Oracle rollouts and enhancements on behalf of Order Management.
· Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, identify gaps, and translate business requirements into system solutions
· Document business requirements, functional design, test scenarios and scripts, and end-user training materials.
· Work directly with OM business users to provide day-to-day application support.
· Provide research, analysis, and problem resolution including creating and monitoring service requests with Oracle Support.
· Support business users and help to troubleshoot simple to complex application issues and develop creative solutions to support business needs.
· Work closely with Oracle Offshore team to develop and test system extensions, enhancements, integrations, and bug fixes.
Qualifications:
· 4-5 years as with Oracle EBS administrator/super user. Specifically implementing enhancements and bug fixes across the Oracle OM, Service Contract, Customer Master, Operations and Finance modules
· Ability to work cross functionally to manage OM-specific Oracle configuration requests
· Understanding of the OTC process
· High degree of attention to detail
· Excellent writing skills (creating training material and work instructions)
· Experience managing Oracle customizations from business requirements, through design and UAT testing
