This is a possible T-H. Shift is 8-5 with rarity of any OT hours. This person will be helping to test a home grown tool. They must have experience testing UI applications and must have Web Services API testing experience. .  
 
 Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Requires a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience with software development. Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Familiar with NT, UNIX and/or Solaris environments. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
 
 As part of the GBUCS Cloud – Tools Monitoring team, you will be working on testing of features from Tools operations team and other enterprise tools. You will be responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. You will develop and execute software test plans. You will analyze and write test standards and procedures. You need to maintain documentation of test results. You are required to analyze test results and recommend corrective actions to the stakeholders.
 As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will :
 •       Design functional, integration and regression test plans
 •       Build and execute manual and automated tests 
 •       Perform highly complex analysis for multiple products
 •       Set cross-functional product testing standards
 •       Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems
 •       Work in ticketing system (CX) and document any updates or changes

 As part of the Portal Engineering team, you will be working on features covering both UI and backend of a portal application.  You will be responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. You will develop and execute software test plans. You will analyze and write test standards and procedures. You need to maintain documentation of test results. You are required to analyze test results and recommend corrective actions to the stakeholders.


As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will :


·         Design functional, integration and regression test plans


·         Build and execute manual and automated tests 


·         Perform highly complex analysis for multiple products


·         Set cross-functional product testing standards


·         Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems

 

 What skills and experience I should possess?
·         Should have strong experience in one or more industrial leading cloud computing and virtualization platforms like Oracle Cloud Service, Oracle VM, OpenStack, EC2, Xen/KVM, or VMware.  

·         Proven experience to provide support to operational teams.  

·         Should be familiar with Agile methodology and contribute to a Continuous Integration /Continuous Deployment environment. 
·         A strong, positive work ethic as demonstrated by initiative, adaptability, independence, and the desire to do what is needed to produce a quality product.

  • Weblogic Application Server
  • Oracle VM (Xen) and Oracle VM Manager
  • AWS/EC2 and/or OpenStack
  • Network Configuration or Management

  • Basic Windows and Linux OS Administration
  • Basic programming skills
  • SQL/Oracle Databases
  • Oracle Application Testing Suite or equivalent functional and load testing tools
 
Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 4-7 years of experience in Quality Engineering of enterprise class software products.
