Project Leader/Project Administrator III

The Project Leader will be responsible for the leadership of 
 Flow & Process Technologies Valve Projects to ensure 
 operational excellence throughout the OTR (Order to 
 Remittance) execution phases responsible for meeting 
 quality, technical, commercial, cost and schedule 
 I n the role of Project Leader, you will: 
· Be the primary customer contact 
 · Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage 
 correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure 
 customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate as 
 · Manage the financial performance of assigned the 
 project or components 
 · Ens ure on-time delivery in accordance with contract 
 · Manage project risk issues including receivables, claims, 
 contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective 
 project closeout 
 · Lead the project team through contract reviews to 
 identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational 
 performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates 
 corrective action where appropriate 
 · Be responsible for managing OTR matrix teams including 
 Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Finance and Services 
 · Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an 
 ac credited college or university (OR H igh School Diploma / 
 GE D from an accredited school or institution and a 
 minimum 7 years of experience in a project management, 
 engineering or manufacturing role) 
 · Minimum 3 years of experience in a project 
 management, engineering or manufacturing role 
 Desired Characteristics 
 · M aster’s Degree in Business Administration or 
 E ngineering from an accredited c ollege or university 
 · P roject, Construction, Field E ngineering and / or 
 C ontract M anagement experience in Power or Oil & Gas 
 · M otivated, s elf-starter 
 · T echnical knowledge of product lines and associated 
 s ystems 
 · M ic rosoft s uite proficiency 
 · Six Sigma training OR equivalent Quality T raining (GE 
 E mployees ONLY) 
 · P roven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage 
 a matrix team / organization 
 · A bility to anticipate events and develop adaptive 
 s trategies / remedies 
 · Strong skills in c ustomer relationship building, 
 fac ilitation, and matrix management 
 · Strong oral and written communication skills
