The Talent Acquisition (TA) team within Human Resources is responsible for promoting a positive image of Dell and providing an exceptional experience to candidates during their journey for a new career. We take into account complex factors to build talent acquisition strategies that achieve business objectives while ensuring a high-quality experience for candidates and business partners. Our candidate experience team is responsible for facilitating several business practices to ensure the success of the talent acquisition lifecycle to include interview scheduling, document collection, candidate communication, and some onboarding support. Successful candidate experience team member should be able to engage recruiters, candidates, and hiring leaders through various stages of the lifecycle by creating a consistent and exceptional experience.
Interacts with Hiring Managers to understand job requirements. Sources, screens and interviews applicants in line with requirements and ensures that the reference checking process is completed. Sources candidates directly in the marketplace and develops candidate pools within their respective market streams. Works with the hiring managers to develop strong selection processes through the use of creative and innovative techniques and tools. Coordinates interviews with Hiring Managers / defined panels. Develops offers in line with approved guidelines, negotiates offer and finalizes start date with candidate. Continues interaction with candidate till the time the candidate joins the organization. Leads and closes all formalities related to on- boarding of the candidate. Accountable for the compliance and document tracking requirements as per defined process guidelines and audit requirements that conform to the local labor code. Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects including agency performance. Exercises judgment on the right sourcing channels to be used. Responsible for managing hiring using appropriate strategies to ensure the best quality of hire and cost per hire. Utilizes MyJobs system throughout the talent acquisition process. Develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources. May develop, support and maintain employment advertising campaigns, college recruiting, affirmative action and career development programs. Supports team or other team members on specific project based hiring requirements through developing appropriate strategies. Develops and manages strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedules external candidate interviews with hiring leaders
• Manages movement of associated Workday inbox and tasks to ensure appropriate candidate movement through talent lifecycle
• Follows up with recruiters to ensure candidates are contacted in alignment with our commitments
• Follows up with candidates throughout to ensure appropriate our communication matches our candidate commitments
Focuses primarily on coordination of talent acquisition and onboarding activities Coordinates all formalities related to candidate interviews, onboarding, in person discussions, video conferencing Supports senior team members & leadership in TA activities Work only on hiring for high volume & repetitive positions and/or jobs operational in nature Works on initial screening of candidates for professional positions Limited interaction with hiring managers Work is almost always reviewed by senior team members or leadership Requires some guidance in following practices & supervision to achieve consistency and compliance Basic knowledge to lead candidates & hiring managers Refers candidates & hiring managers to senior members for complex tasks.
