Title: Marketing Specialist II 
Location:  Framingham MA

Role Summary
This position, reporting into the Consumer Marketing Manager, develops and activates the quarterly marketing acquisition campaigns to reposition Philips Aging & Caregiving within the consumer space, manage traditional, social and digital media buying/vendor relationships with support from the CMM and, in addition, support ad-hoc consumer facing messaging to existing customers.
 
Strategic positioning
Based on input from head of marketing or CMM, uses historical data, current market intel and industry trends to develop proposals for campaign execution and optimization within the segment.
Reviews funnel data weekly to strengthen partnership with media vendors and work to allocate, reallocate or cut spend appropriately.
Supporting new Aging & Caregiving proposition, look for new channel expansion opportunities
Work with Consumer Marcom Specialist to ensure consistency of new campaigns & messaging with existing, always on activity.
Work with digital journey manager to support content creation as needed.
 
Measurement & Continuous improvement
• Understands and acts on the main drivers for campaign and sales effectiveness and sets clear KPIs and tracking.
Partners with Direct Sales team to understand voice of the customer
Partners with Direct Sales team to gain alignment with upcoming quarterly activities.
 
Knowledge & Critical Experiences
5+ years experience in media and marketing communications.
Multi-year experience with agency/vendor management
A track record of successful campaign planning and execution.
Significant hands-on experience with messaging development, email marketing, direct mail campaigns and campaign development.
Ability to negotiate rates with media agencies
Comfortable working and planning with a test/learn/optimize strategy
