Position: Senior HR Consultant
Location: Plymouth, MN
Contract: 12 months (Extendable)
This person should have extensive experience (7+) supporting a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated hourly and salaried labor relations. Prior HR Generalist experience in a Manufacturing/Light Industrial facility
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. A solid understanding of local and federal laws and ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment. BA or BS degree required. This position is supporting a brand new manufacturing site in Plymouth, MN. Positive/fair and balanced approach to problem resolution . Ability to build positive rapport and trustworthiness quickly with individuals at all levels . Previous experience with site opening and leadership onboarding is beneficial.
The HR Consultant may be responsible for assisting internal clients with strategically integrating effective HR processes, programs and practices into daily operations, maximize the client's performance related to human resources by introducing best practice
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Influences and directs the work of others.
Resource that possess a thorough understanding of both the operational and strategic side of Human Resources. Has strong organizational abilities, a high degree of professional ethics and sense of fairness and the ability to work with individuals at all levels. The candidate must also have excellent decision-making capabilities and be comfortable guiding others toward making sound business choices.
Has at least 7+ years of HR Generalist experience, knowledge in Workday, and current knowledge of MN employment laws
