Title:- Payroll Specialist
Duration:- One year
- Description:Job Title: Payroll Specialist Primary Purpose of Position:
Performs a variety of payroll functions in ADP Enterprise V.5 and ADP eTime, which include maintaining and accurately processing employee changes, issuing of manual checks, loading one-time payment files such as bonus and equity payments. Successful candidate will use skills of an experienced Payroll professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolve a wide range of issues in an innovative and practical way. Works with approximately 20 FEINS and 40 states for 2500 non-production and 2800 production employees on a biweekly payroll cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Processing Payroll:Validate data transfers into Payroll Enterprise and eTimeReview timecards and process prior payroll adjustments through ADP eTimeCalculate and generate manual checksEnter or review manual payroll entries such as W-4 and direct depositsValidate payroll reports prior to confirming of biweekly payrollResponsible for ensuring appropriate approvals and processes are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls
ReportingResponsible for post confirm payroll reportingProvide eTime reporting
Other:Assist in responding to Verification of Employment informationSupport the Unemployment ProcessRespond to payroll related issues and inquiriesSpecial projects as assignedAssist in payroll filing and distribution of mail - Requirements:Minimum Years and Type of Experience Required:
- Typically requires a minimum of 4+ years of related experience
- Experience with processing a mid to large size company payroll
