The IT Documentation Specialist primary responsibility will be the completion of customer IT security risk assessments and product technical specification questionnaires with a high level of accuracy related to installation of Client/Server CAD software and other medical devices in a healthcare network. Secondary responsibility will be developing an internal technical documentation database for aggregation of assessments and product technical resources.


Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the preparation and completion of IT/Vendor documentation resources in collaboration with Technical Support Engineers, Product Management and Application Specialists
• Proper analysis and verification to ensure data integrity
• Seek ways to improve data aggregation process
• Manage the creation of a technical documentation & specifications database to assist in the accurate and fast completion of customer IT assessments and questionnaires
• Maintain up-to-date technical specifications data resources; report needed or missing product technical documentation resources
• Perform other basic office duties as assigned



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Accuracy is an essential part of this position
• Ability to quickly learn industry / technical / company specific terminology
• Strong Microsoft office skills
• Fast and accurate typing and Data entry skills
• Highly organized, attention to detail, ability to work independently, results driven


Experience/Education:
• 1-2 years’ experience in technical document creation
• Experience with Microsoft Excel required, and knowledge or experience with Access SharePoint, XML, and Word
• Understanding of Interfaces, IS Security, Client/Server, Databases, Software/Hardware installation processes, and Networking
• Associate degree in a technical/computer field or equivalent experience
• One-two years similar experience (i.e.: Networking, programming, or help desk), or equivalent certifications (i.e. A+ certification)
• Prior experience with SQL is nice, but not required.
• Experience with providing remote software applications training helpful
• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging equipment, nice but not required.
• Previous Healthcare medical device, MRI, CT experience preferred.
