Position: Product Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep track of laboratory inventory and ensure the inventory is replenished
- Order lab supplies including consumables, reagents and instrument parts
- Ensure instruments are replenished with consumables and reagents
- Schedule in-house instrument repairs and maintenance when required
- Support on-site laboratory audits and walkthroughs to ensure procedure compliance
- Adhere to company and regulatory procedure
- Schedule the lab resources when personnel need to utilize automation system or instruments
- Ensure lab safety procedure are followed by engineers
- Execute test cases in the laboratory
- Perform regression testing
Required Skills:
- Laboratory maintenance experience
- Familiarity with medical diagnostics instruments or interfacing with automation
systems/devices is desired
- Possess a high-level of self-motivation and ability to work on a team
- Testing methodology
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational skills
Minimum Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, etc.,
- Experience using MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Medical Equipment Lab Maintenance
Typically 2- 5 years’ experience in Software verification and installation
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, EE, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
