Administrative Assistant

Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Laurel, Mississippi

Answers and routes incoming phone calls for 1 or more lines. Takes and relays telephone messages. Greets escorts and directs visitors. Provides general information to callers or visitors. Provides telephone directory assistance. Has ability to communicate clearly and accurately; use a telephone system to receive and transfer calls; shows patience and courtesy when dealing with people. Possesses basic computer skills including word processing. May be required to provide information to callers regarding products/services. ? 

Responsibilities : - Proactively support the assigned manager and team by independently handling all assigned duties taking direction from and balancing the needs of staff members - Maintain and coordinate calendars schedule appointments and meetings and arrange travel schedules and itineraries - Process and reconcile Travel & Living expense accounts - Schedule plan and organize logistical details for in-house and off-site meetings. - Develop PowerPoint presentations type letters memos charts reports proposals contracts agreements or other types of correspondence and maintain records of all documents - Provide general office administrative services including telephone coverage mail and fax processing and distribution file set up and maintenance photocopying and office supplies.
