Small Cells experience and experience with scripting are a must.
We will consider professionals with 2+ years of experience.
Creating performance requirement documentation based on the analysis of vendor RF Engineering binders for various Performance tools.
- Execute test cases and troubleshoot issues in the RAN environment in the lab and field.
- Feature Testing (perform tests, perform test calls, setup test scenarios).
- Attend the customer's lab/FOA conference calls and/or meetings
- Support Testing and Fix verification on Software patches/correction loads.
- Perform root-cause analysis of RF issues to meet target KPIs.
- Review compatibility of patches and updates with respect to the current solution and feature set.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of LTE IP networks within a lab environment and support field trials and commercial deployments.
- Create Performance requirement documentation based on the analysis of vendor RF Engineering binders for various Performance tools.
- Work with vendor-specific network system and release documentation for cellular technologies (LTE, EVDO, 3G1X) and defining KPI’s as relevant.
- Attain a detailed understanding of vendor-specific key performance indicator (KPI) and operational metric calculations and validation of calculated outputs.

The skills and background that make you successful...
- A minimum of 4-6 years’ professional experience in the wireless industry in various fields of LTE/CDMA/EVDO.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, Unix, scripting tools.
- Experience with Self Organizing Networks (Cisco Centralize SON/SON) features and services
- Experience with telecom OSS, or NMS applications/modules including RAN and core Performance management.
- Experience in Business and system level analysis of the network release upgrades on LTE/EVDO/CDMA networks in regards to RAN KPIs and parameters and per call measurement data impacts.
- Experience working with element management systems.
- BS degree.
