Supply Planner

 | Description:  Supply Planner - Job Description: 
 
 The ECR (Emergency Care and Resuscitation) Supply Planner works to create a production plan for the manufacturing department, balancing the material plan, customer orders, factory capacity and material availability for optimal production scheduling. 
 
 You are responsible for: 
 
 • Maintaining the master production schedule at the AED (automated external defibrillator) configurable material, un-config and config level for a rolling 12 months minimum. 
 • Balance the commercial demand, the production possibilities and the supply levels. 
 • Drawing up RCCP (rough cut capacity plans) monthly and provide input into the cross-functional global S&OP/forecast meeting. 
 • Ensure SAP is loaded with adequate capacity, perform capacity roll-over tasks and keep a rolling 12 month capacity plan in SAP. 
 • Leads the complete and on time (COT) reporting, tracking and root cause analysis for the identification of late shipment orders. Lead an action plan to ensure continuous improvement of this key metric. 
 • Ensuring SRT (Supplier Response Time)/Lead-time is set up correctly by product line to drive MRP. 
 • Working closely with the Demand Planner and Order Manager to ensure there is alignment in the production schedule and customer need. 
 • Meets regularly with Demand Planner and Order Manager to discuss key AOS (Assurance of Supply) and inventory issues 
 • Provide input into the material plan, pull together data to share the overall production plan 
 • Escalate and communicate risks in the production plan and work to mitigate and resolve issues 
 • Evaluate and share flexibility possibilities in line with allocation plans 
 • Provide input to the Demand Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. 
 • Support the Order management organization as required. 
 • Active member of daily management, supporting KPIs and root cause investigations. 
 • Takes the lead on improvement plans/ideas with the support of the team, implements and executes. 
 
 To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience 
 • Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Operations, or a similar field. 
 • 5+ years of experience in planning or scheduling role (medical devices preferred). 
 • 5+ years of experience working with MRP and ERP systems (SAP preferred). 
 • Sense of urgency, organization and analytical skills 
 • Team player, with strong interpersonal skills 
 • Strong analytical skills & attention to details 
 • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 
 • Experience working within a regulated environment (preferred)
