- Description:SummaryWe are looking for a Document Control Technician to work with contract manufacturing managers (CCMs) to gather, organize and maintain raw material information from contract manufacturers (CMs) and raw material suppliers. The incumbent will also collect and maintain scientific support for claims of functional ingredients/products under the guidance of subject matter expert.ResponsibilitiesRaw Materials1. Obtain raw material related information:· Raw Material (RM) Specifications· MSDS/SDS (as applicable)· GRAS notices or statement (For probiotic strains – statement of US regulatory status)· Certificate of Analysis· Allergen information· Gluten Statement· Country of Origin· Compositional Breakdown (range is fine)· Prop 65 Statement· Warning statement· GMO Statement· Nutritional Information (compliant with 2016 regulations- including Added Sugars)· Organic Certification (if applicable) 2. Document control· Upload RM information to Master Control· Route RM information for approval Support for Structure/Function Claims1. Upload references and input existing claims into Clorox Claims Management System (CCMS)2. Upload monographs for functional ingredients from PubMed, WHO and/or other internationally recognized regulatory authorities under technical guidance
- Requirements:Requirements Experience document control Knowledge of scientific literature search engines Experience in functional foods/nutraceuticals/probiotics preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills B.S. in Life Science or relevant field
