Summary:
This purpose of this role is to support the global Accounts Payable function. This position is responsible for overall global policy, process, governance & Controls Leadership. Additionally, this position is responsible for system improvement and enhancement leadership that will drive efficiency and effectiveness. This position serves a critical liaison role with multiple Accounts Payable regional teams to drive global standardization and process improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide overall global policy, process, governance & Controls Leadership, including SOAR Controls
• Act as a global escalation point for SAP/other tool global system access escalations & administration
• Act as the technical leader for the SAP Accounts Payable platform and assist with troubleshooting production issues as needed
• Understand the Accounts Payable internal controls environment across all functions and processes to ensure they are designed and operating effectively
• Work collaboratively and cross functionally with the other SSC COE roles and OPEX to identify SAP enhancements and partner with GPO to gain alignment and BPT to ensure execution
• Serve as a primary interface with BPT for SAP/other tool issues ensuring effective communication between business and BPT
• Provide business training to ensure compliance with applicable policies
• Custodian of SAP/other tool global documentation and training materials for Accounts Payable
• Actively participate in LEAN and continuous improvement and identifies and implements continuous improvement on global processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Assist and contribute on global and regional projects as required
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
• 7+ years of relevant work experience (SAP AP/BPT Application support)
• Demonstrated system skills in SAP and a solid ability to integrate SAP/other tools
• Keen attention to details
• Strong analytical skills and Intermediate MS Excel skills
• Strong IT/Computer literate skills
• Good Communication skills and English fluency
• Lean mindset and demonstrated experience of process improvements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with deadlines
• Flexible and can operate efficiently under continuous change and ambiguity
• Ability to influence global stakeholders
• Possess strong initiative and proactive in anticipating problem which may occur
• Management of Information Systems with focus in P2P application support is a plus
• Demonstrated SAP Accounts Payable Application support experience
• Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting/Information Systems
