Data Analyst / Post Market Surveillance and Complaint Handling

Responsibilities include: 
 
 Data Processing of Customer Feedback and Complaints 
 • Support Post Market Surveillance and Complaint Handling Processes 
 • Compile and analyze complaint trends 
 • Prepare metrics for executive management reporting (e.g. monthly business segment quality / productivity reviews, quarterly management reviews, etc.) 
 • Generate quality reporting to support business teams in Operations, Engineering other organizations, as needed 
 
 Skills and Experience 
 
 • 3 to 5 years experience with Data Analysis and Reporting, required 
 • Competence with SQL queries/reports 
 • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Access and other data analysis tools 
 • Competency with ERP (SAP) systems that supports quality data reporting 
 
 
 
 Education: Bachelor's /Master's degree or equivalent 
 Certification in Microsoft SQL Server, or similar preferred 
 
 Review, process, monitor, and reporting of product defect complaints. Investigate and document activities relating to the complaint evaluations and investigations. Document product complaints into the database for trending and analysis and ensure that the complaint process was completed in accordance with corporate procedures. Develop professional expertise, apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Interface with Customer Service and Engineering to gather additional information required for complaint initiation/investigations. Determine product and incident complaint codes based on the master symptom code severity list. Apply knowledge of device regulatory requirements in order to support the Post Market Surveillance reporting process, partner with other departments to help resolve product problems and assist with review of the timely coding of completed investigations, closure of all complaint files, and ensure that all pertinent information is contained consistently and uniformly within the file prior to closure. Perform queries to provide complaint data and ad hoc trend analysis on reported product problems/complaints. Review and comply with applicable company policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
