Compensation Analyst

Position: Compensation Analyst
 Location: Newport Beach, CA
 Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire

·       3 – 5 years’ experience in Compensation (REQUIRED)
·       Project management experience and the ability to lead large projects (REQUIRED)
·       Proven ability to consult/influence/negotiate with leadership in implementation of compensation policies and practices (REQUIRED)
·       Bachelor’s degree and/or related work experience to supplement education (REQUIRED)
 
Compensation Analyst will consult with assigned business units on issues relating to new positions, equity issues, new hire rates, wage and hour and policy questions. Develops and interprets compensation policies. Provides analytical compensation support to the Compensation Staff through the use of established compensation evaluation systems, analytics, design, and reporting.  Analyzes and evaluates market surveys to ensure market competitiveness of our positions. Stays current with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure organization compliance. 
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
·       Bachelor’s degree and/or related work experience to supplement education
·       Experience with various Compensation Survey tools & systems, i.e. Gartner, Mercer, etc.
·       3 – 5 years’ experience in Compensation.
·       Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
·       Project management experience and the ability to lead large projects
·       Proven ability to consult/influence/negotiate with leadership in implementation of compensation policies and practices
·       Lawson experience is highly preferred
