Requirements:
A lead Test / Verification engineer responsible for leading the software verification of the automation system software connected to medical diagnostics instruments. Key responsibilities of the position include all aspects of the software verification, adherence to company and regulatory procedures, software quality, collection and reporting of metrics.
This position is located at the facility in Tarrytown, New York, that develops medical diagnostics instruments for use in hospitals and diagnostics laboratories. The position may require travel to Flanders, NJ location.
Responsibilities:
Prepare software verification plans, test procedures, verification reports, risk assessment and
trace matrix in cooperation with peers on the software verification team
Review software requirements
Conduct software test analysis
Execute test procedures in the laboratory
Perform regression testing
Assure that software quality goals are met
Participate in and support product test process improvement initiatives
Support on-site laboratory audits and walkthroughs to ensure procedure compliance
Adhere to company and regulatory procedure

Experience using MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge and experience in TFS preferred
Typically 10+ years’ experience in Software verification and in a regulated environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software
Engineering, EE, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
