Description:
Reliability Engineering Technician
Specific Responsibilities
• Executing system and component reliability/life test protocols
• Identify the necessary test tools & equipment for reliability/life testing
• Test equipment & fixture setup
• Maintain and operate equipment for reliability testing
• Engineering data collection, including data acquisition system setup, debugging, and data quality review
• Troubleshooting, failure analysis, and maintenance of units under test
• Document test results, Summarize tester data and provide verbal and/or written reports
Technical Skills & Experience
• Experience as a test technician working directly with test equipment and devices under test in an R&D environment
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems
• Exceptional analytical problem solving skills
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems and sensors used for engineering data collection
• Machine shop experience valued

Preferred Experience:
5+ years of experience as a reliability/durability test technician in an R&D environment
Education:
An Associates degree in engineering technologies or electronics preferred
