Title: Dev-OPS / Sys Admin Engineer
Location: Fitchburg, WI
Duration: 6 months

Description:
The candidate should fit one of the following two profiles:

 
Dev-OPS / Sys Admin Engineer: Option 1
Education: BS / MS in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering or related field.

Experience: 3 – 5 years
Areas of skills: Oracle and/or HP server hardware management, Solaris installations
• Solaris system administration, proficient in Linux administration, SCCS, defect management systems
• Experience with three or more of the following is highly desirable:
- Solaris 11/11.2/11.3 on x86 platform,
- X6-2,
- IPS,
- ZFS,
- Solaris Zone,
- Dtrace,
- Solaris Cluster,
- Sun Cluster
• Network infrastructure management experience
• Managing Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS)
• Configuration Management, Source code control systems
• Proficiency with office automation software (Word, Excel, Project, etc.)
• Strong written, oral, & interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment
 
Dev-OPS / Sys Admin Engineer: Option 2
Education: BS / MS in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering or related field. 
 
Experience: 3 – 5 years 
Areas of skills: 
• OpenStack 
• AWS architecture certification 
o highly available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, scalable systems Identify and recognize cloud architecture considerations, such as fundamental components 
o Understanding of cloud services like storage as a server, dB as a service, security architecture 
o Software defined networking for containers and VM 
o Performance and uptime monitoring 
• Kubernetes deployment 
• Docker 
• Managing high performance C/C++ applications. 
• Strong written, oral, & interpersonal skills 
• Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment
