Engineer-technical Support

Title: Technical Support-Network
Location:Richardson-TX
Duration: 18+months

Qualifications 

o BSCS/EE/MSCS and minimum of 3-4 years' experience in either technical support or development organization. 
o Strong knowledge of Linux, Hypervisor, Virtualization and Container areas. 
o Strong knowledge of Network routing and switching, DNS and DHCP. 
o Ability to build engineering level partnerships and communicate effectively at all levels. 
o Experience with customer support and good communication skills 


Desired Skills 

o Deep knowledge on one or multiple programming skills, e.g. Python, Java, javascript or Shell. Candidate is capable to debug software or application. 
o Working experience on Cisco products, such as IE4K, ASR1K, ISR4K, IOS, IOS-XE is a plus 
o Candidate has working experience on Linux KVM, LXC, Docker. 
o Understanding of Rest APIs. 
o Ability to scale with multiple network engagements with multiple customers. 
o Result oriented individual with high energy who wants to get the job done with integrity.
o Ability to work under pressure and the willingness to adapt, overcome and succeed in a constantly changing business and technical environment is necessary.
