    Position Summary (Mission/Purpose): Email and CRM Marketing Associate The CRM and Email Marketing Associate gets a front-row seat to the exciting changes occurring in consumer-goods marketing due to innovation in data and marketing technology. The person in this role is the power user of IBM Watson Campaign Automation (Silverpop). They manage data and technical operations for brand CRM programs, enterprise-level data projects, and innovation pilots. The role requires previous experience with a marketing automation platform -- including email operations, marketing automation, A/B testing, analytics, audience segmentation and data import/export. The ideal candidate will be excited about data and operations. This is not a design or copywriting role. They will have an analytics mindset, solid organizational skills, and strong attention to detail for flawless execution and safe handling of the company’s first-party data. We need a self-starter who can work independently and communicate clearly. We also need someone who can collaborate well. The position reports to the Associate Director of Owned Digital Marketing.  Work direction will be coordinated with Associate Director of Owned Digital Marketing as well as the individual brand marketing content teams. Key Responsibilities: Be the functional expert of the IBM Watson Campaign Automation platform (50%)·       Master features useful for email and multi-channel CRM programs --  including contact lists, automation, landing pages, segmentation, and new brand org set up.·       Advance use of automation in email and multi-channel CRM programs.·       Know the data fields within Silverpop and how Clorox brands use them·       Master the technical side of Silverpop, including set up of relational tables, API calls and other data and technical integrations·       Provide Silverpop support for IT, data science, agencies, and other groups that want to test and to expand company’s use of CRM data. Manage CRM audience data for brands (30%)·       Manage inputs to database of record including integration of 1st party data sources and push out to data partners·       Set up and maintain automated data management.·       Import/export CRM data for use in media campaigns·       Maintain database hygiene – conduct audit and maintain consistency, follow data governance procedures Analytics and reporting (10%)·       Access CRM and email performance data and reports in Silverpop·       Translate metrics and performance into analysis, insights and actions·       Communicate CRM and email program performance to brand teams·       Summarize corporate and individual brand learning for sharing throughout organization Support email operations staff during peak times for brand email campaigns (10%):·       Set up, schedule, and deploy email campaigns·       Manage email deliverability·       A/B Testing Plan Execution·       Campaign Segmenting and Design Setup·       Analysis and Reporting 
  • Requirements:Minimum Requirements·       2+ years in an email-marketing or CRM role.·       Proficiency in a marketing automation platform and email service provider Required Skills and Experience·       Experience managing and transferring data·       Project management·       Analytic skills·       An ability to work under tight deadlines·       Good communication skills Desired (but Not Required) Skills·       Basic HTML·       Experience in IBM Watson Campaign Automation (Silverpop)·       Familiarity with analytical and database tools; previous usage a plusEducation Level and Degrees:·       Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent training) required·       Education in in marketing, communications, or related field is preferred
