Location: downtown Seattle
Ship reliable, scalable and efficient code
Build new products to improve existing ones in collaboration with core Oracle product engineering teams
Understand our client’s business and what is required to make them successful
Influence the road map and product development of OCI’s business to meet our client’s business challenges
5+ years of experience shipping production code
Strong experience in at least one high level programming language (Java, Python, Go, C#)
Familiarity with development tools and processes (e.g. Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Team City)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience
Experience designing and implement distributed systems and REST API interfaces
Experience building solutions on top of existing cloud providers (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software
applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to
meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level
personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
