Job Description:
Schedule: 9:30am - 5:30pm; Monday - Friday; onsite 3-4 days per week; work remote on Fridays and as needed for weather / personal reasons 
Reason for Role: backfill for team coordinator / traffic manager during 5 months-long maternity leave; fulltime cannot be absorbed by team and is critical for marketing operations to continue. 
We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Brand Coordinator Contractor to join the Brand Marketing team for 5-6 months (mid-March through early September 2019). To be a good fit for our team, you need to be passionate about collaboration and experienced in handling competing priorities. You tackle difficult challenges head-on and find creative, strategic solutions. You pay attention to details, communicate clearly, speak articulately, and write thoughtfully. You are an adaptable and quick learner who finds enjoyment in problem-solving. You’ll be in good company with two Video Production Specialists, three Graphic Designers and two Web Developers, in an onsite team led by a Creative Director. And you’ll be part of a community with some of the brightest minds in engineering, development, sales, and support too! This position requires critical skills in time management, digital and print workflow process, scheduling, trafficking, and project management. The Brand Coordinator will help manage the following types of projects: web/digital, print, exhibit/display graphics, templates for online and print marketing, PowerPoint/presentations, and social media graphics. The Brand Coordinator will review and support all project requests in Asana. While you won’t write code for the web or design these marketing projects, you’ll need to demonstrate a deep knowledge for the creative and web workflow process. Ultimately, you will help manage multiple queues of creative and web projects that will need team members assigned and schedules maintained. You’ll also work with leaders to prioritize projects and resources. 
 
Accountabilities:
Develops marketing and communications plans and activities for specific product(s) or solution(s) Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product/ solution strategies and identify opportunities to expand market share Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products/ solutions Supports product/ solution launch and provide sustaining efforts to enable quoting, validation, pricing, order entry, and fulfillment of products/ solutions under management via internal sales tool and external web stores Develops content for internal and external audiences relaying product/solution strategies and value propositions, including customer presentations and sales training materials Works with demand, supply, and pricing teams to ensure accurate forecasting, lead-time estimating, and pricing for products/ solutions under management Manages product/ solutions launches to ensure sales force readiness and optimize P&L impact of product transitions Provides input into: item forecast & mix planning, category UPP and BU offer strategy Provides input into product transition playbooks (may also draft the playbooks) 
 
Responsibilities:
Independently creates a range of product marketing materials and performs product marketing activities Independently performs market research projects and analyzes trends Bridges development, product management and sales to manage a product's life cycle Plans and implements product launches, core positioning and messaging, sales training and marketing programs for assigned products Responsibilities include assessing market requirements, investigating new technologies, developing recommendations for technical product direction, establishing plans as well as strategies and roadmap plan-of-records Assists in product business plan, forecasts, profit and loss, margins, risk factors, overall business plan, pricing analysis and recommendations Position requires ability to interface with all levels of the organization including the executive management team as well as external customers, executive management, press and industry analysts 
• Works closely with the Creative, Web and Video team and project leads to support the design, development and maintenance of creative, web development and video production projects: • Supports regular team meetings to manage schedule, obtain updates, discuss issues, and resolve problems with projects and requests • Communicates milestones, priorities, bottlenecks, and other major problems which affect a successful delivery • Acts as subject matter expert on the use of Asana application and other related platforms/collaboration tools and trains users on these applications and tools 
 
Qualifications:
• BA/BS, or equivalent work experience, with 3 - 5 (or more years) of project management / traffic management experience working in an art department, creative services or marketing team(s) is required 
• Outstanding attention to detail and design • Substantial knowledge of web and digital design, print design, exhibit and swag design, and strong understanding of production and lead times for each 
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; familiar with the Google suite of business apps 
• Highly proficient in Asana 
• Comprehensive understanding of all types of file formats. High level of technological literacy 
• Ability to follow best practices and Asana processes that are already in place and make the best professional recommendations to deliver against project timelines, resources, and goals 
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and maintain/manage relationships across multiple departments; strong focus on teamwork
