4 Months Extendable Contract
Location: Ontario, California
The Product Development Lab Technician is responsible for supporting the development of new formulation, product testing, and result documenting of Oral Healthcare products in the cGMP environment. The Laboratory Technician’s primary responsibilities include executing laboratory projects for technical team members and performing general laboratory duties as required.
You are responsible for
o Conduct product development laboratory experiments
o Investigate the procedures pertinent to reactions, composition, and relationship.
o Operate general or specialized lab equipment and become familiar with all aspects of technical testing and evaluation based on results.
o Performs product/formulation analysis of development samples, finished products and stability samples by applying problem solving skills
o Maintains the lab in accordance with cGMP/company requirements
o Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
o Carries out routine and assigned projects in a timely fashion under minimum supervision to meet deadlines, according to GMPs, SOPs, and test methods
o Works to maximize efficiencies through multitasking to increase productivity.
o Maintain personal safety of self and others as well as chemical stewardship.
o Performs equipment qualifications and calibration procedures to ensure the equipment is providing accurate and precise measurements
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
o Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer, Biochemistry or other closely related field 1+ years of experience or Associate degree with 3+ years of experience preferably in the pharmaceutical/ medical device industry
o Experience working in a cGMP or GLP regulated environment
o Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability
o Detail-oriented and safety focus
o Ability to shift priority
o Good verbal and written skills, good learning attitude
o Strong organization, record keeping, data analysis, and computer skills
o Team work oriented with good interpersonal skills
