JOB OVERVIEW:
The Web Consultancy and CMS Administration Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Siemens Healthcare owned internet properties, assuring that corporate branding, style guidelines and navigational structure is maintained with a focus towards the Business Area Services. This position will also maintain a consistent, optimized user experience across all Healthcare web properties and ensure that the company websites are dynamic, fresh and continuously updated and improved. The position will provide consultative guidance to business/content owners as well as communications colleagues regarding optimized web content strategies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support the web content management process with the implementation, editing and optimization of content on Siemens Healthineers global website (healthcare.siemens.com)
2. Develop compelling digital assets/interactive content that effectively tells our brand story across all marketing channels.
3. Liaise with business colleagues across the global Healthcare Sector organization, Social Media Channel Owner as well as country communication responsible to ensure alignment and up-to date content display across channels and Business Areas.
4. Learn the established KPIs for the responsible content area & projects and support state-of-the-art web metrics reporting; compile data and create reports for top management and stakeholders
5. Regularly evaluate the website and consult internal stakeholders in regards to digital content display: taxonomy, information architecture, navigational structure, search engine optimization, up-to data content and site usability
6. Assist in internet projects related to the development of and publishing process for the web CMS (Content Management System)
Experience / Skills / Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, Interactive Communications Design or related field required
2 year experience required in web content management and administration
A quick learner with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an understanding of software, databases and online services
Required knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript and PhotoShop
Experience with integrating content management systems and community websites is a plus
Experience with developing digital assets using codes or templates is a plus
Good understanding of information architecture and usability principles is a plus
Knowledge of cross-browser/cross platform compatibility issues and web design constraints
Ability to take direction and convert those directions into results
Ability to work as a self-starter with a demonstrable understanding of the latest web technologies
Ability to correct, organize, present and implement project requirements
Ability to develop ideas that result in improvements to existing procedures, projects or materials
Highly motivated; taking ownership of multiple projects and their deliverables
Strong analytical aptitude, with extreme attention to detail and quality
