Title: Orientation Specialist/Onboarding Specialist

6 month contract opportunity with potential to extend/go FTE
Detail Oriented/Ability to set up logistics (prior event planning experience would be helpful for this role)
Energetic, Enthusiastic, Empathetic individual needed for planning, leading and presenting new employee orientations at our HQ campus; professional demeanor and solid presentation skills needed.
Ability to connect with people on their level and provide a welcoming and helpful countenance;
ability to skillfully manage logistics for weekly orientation with various stakeholders such as IT, HR, Benefits and Badging to ensure our new hires have everything needed to get started;
attention to detail is key;
ability to deal with and de-escalate conflict and reassure new hires that they will be well taken care of;
connect new hires to resources to help with issues;
moderate Slack channel to drive engagement by announcing fun activities and programs new hires might be interested in and answering questions from new hires;
facilitate a monthly welcome reception for new hires and host an executive speaker for a Q&A session;
obtain feedback from new hires and presenters to continually improve the orientation session.
