Title: Customer Service - Compliance (DTJP00012607)Duration: 0-9 month(s)Location: Austin, TX 78753 [Candidates must initially work onsite in Parmer for training but role can be done remotely, maybe 1 or 2 days per week after they're trained.]Pay rate: $20/hr on W2 Job Description:Assist with servicing Customer Requests via email/chat regarding required compliance documentation and information. -- Handle questions from internal and external customers providing certifications, reports, or regulatory questions. If don't know the answer will bring in SME to help respond to the email. -- No specific background - friendly and patient. Will be working under a lead and will receive subject-matter training. No prior Regulatory experience necessary. Good customer service and communication skills a must. Day to Day:Customer will need a specific document about their product. Come to this team for those request - this team will find document for that product and email back to them. High demand as team went through 27K emails for request last year. Every day going through a full inbox and helping with as many as possible. Ideally want a response rate within 48 hours or less.Candidates initially work onsite in Parmer for training but role can be done remotely, maybe 1 or 2 days per week after they're trained. -- Strong customer service background (great references). -- Ability to handle high-demand of emails (response goal is 48 hours or less as they may be receiving 300+ emails per day) Accountabilities:Implements and maintains financial compliance policies, procedures and regulations. Provides advice on financial products and offerings and on how changes in regulations may affect documentation and legal procedures. Develops, recommends and implements processes and controls to ensure organizational compliance. Monitors and analyzes account transactions to ensure appropriateness of activities. Ensures that the requirements and regulations of the business are adhered to and that all requirements are carried out promptly and accurately. Establishes a close working relationship with all business areas and balances control with sensible application and delivery. May prepare documentation and represent the company before supervisory authorities (regulators, trade associations etc.). Responsibilities:Works closely with assigned business segments to ensure all regulatory risks are identified and accounted for. Performs testing for account marketing and solicitation, credit decisions, new account set up, on-going account management and retention. Maintains thorough and accurate records of all accounts reviewed.
