The Data Management Analyst (DMA) is responsible for conducting all stages of the data editing/quality process for the Primary, Device and Managed Markets epartment as well as any Ad Hoc work that is needed. The DMA is also responsible for insuring the quality and accuracy of the data prior to report generation. This includes monitoring and maintaining QC schedules, reviewing all incoming data from suppliers and investigating/resolving issues identified through a detailed set of edit procedures; as well as participating in the development of new editing procedures and implementing them as they are established. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining all pertinent documentation for the studies (i.e. audit trails, call logs, data problem logs and resolutions, data received, data transmittals, QC procedures, etc.). MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Web-harvesting of pertinent information on hospital products. Bridging of products in the Common Master File. Setting up of synonyms in the Common Master File. Maintaining standard match rate established by IMS and the DLA. Validating correct matches and assigning Cardinal Reference number to file. Attend Department Meetings to report on the status of outstanding QC tasks on the project team schedule and provide reporting statistics.
