Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Shift Hours: 8 hrs per day, 5 days/week

To oversee the day-to-day activities of software developers or support teams.; to oversee quality assurance reviews; to ensure project completion and user satisfaction; and to provide guidance and training to assigned team.
·         Oversees development or support of system specifications through interaction with business users, IT project managers, program managers and IT programming staff.
·         Oversees design, development, maintenance, testing and debugging of software development code, FTP file transmission and job scheduling tasks.
·         Assists in projecting software and hardware score, requirements, costs and general software project management.
·         Oversees the work of software developers, project managers and system analysts as needed to manage the software development life cycle.
·         Provides guidance and training to team.
·         Prepares status reports to department manager.
·         Ensures successful completion of projects in conformance to project goals and requirements; ensures projects are in conformance with company policies and procedures.
·         Ensures proactive and cooperative relationships exist within the project team; remains accessible to project team members.
·         Keeps up-to-date with technology changes and direction.
·         Performs other duties as assigned.
·         Supports the organization's quality program(s).
·         Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
·         Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
·         Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Information Systems or Computer Science major preferred.
Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include five (5) years of Senior Software Development experience and three (3) years of specialized programming relative to program needs required.
·         5+ years of Enterprise Scheduling experience with Tidal, Control-M or Advanced Scheduler
·         5+years of File Transfer experience in a Managed File Transfer setup with support and maintenance
·         5+ years IT experience, with at least 3 years in an enterprise environment
·         Experience with various file transfer types including SFTP, FTP/S, AS2, and HTTP/S
·         Strong business acumen and related communication skills
·         Experience in creation, management and improvement of process flow
·         4-year degree in technical field or equivalent experience
Skills & Knowledge:
·         Knowledge of software development lifecycle
·         Specific knowledge for IT project management
·         Ability to assess and estimate costs associate with software and hardware expenses associated with software development
·         High level of self-motivation
·         PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
·         Analytical and interpretive skills
