 Position's General Duties and Tasks
 HCLS Pega Technical Architect
 ***This Opportunity is currently located in Reston, VA, and requires 75% plus travel***
 • Experience in the design, configuration, development, testing, and installation of applications build with Pega software using best practices, modern methods, and industry standards 
 • Ability to directly engage and work with project managers, system architects, client business users and other engineers 
 • Analyze, design and support implementation of business-specific solutions and/or frameworks 
 • Ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch customer experience 
 • Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements into well architected, top performing software 
 • Good hands on implementing integration services using REST, SOAP, Email etc. 
 • Good understanding of service oriented architecture concepts 
 • Performs regular code and design reviews ensuring all business cases are covered and the solution is architecturally sound 
 • Assists with planning and execution of unit, integration and user acceptance testing 
 • Provides regular updates team lead and project/delivery managers on project progress and outstanding issues 
 • Assigns appropriate tasks (when/as needed) to junior project team members, coaches project team members, and provide guidance on development best-practices 
 • Responsible for implementing technical solutions 
 • Mentors new team members 
 Primary Skills (5-10 Years) 
• Certified Pega Lead Architect 
 • Pega Experience/Configuration Experience 
 • Systems Integration
