Communicates proposed changes/solutions between user groups and software engineers to determine the extent to which corrections or enhancements can be implemented and their effect on current process and procedure.
Analyzes application issues providing recommended solutions/system changes with detailed written documentation.
Accountable for product test and final sign-off of system changes. Creates, revises and executes test plans of medium to high complexity and identifies cross functional impacts. Reviews test plans prepared by others.
Performs application data queries to troubleshoot system problems or provide user requested reports.
Coordinates application release planning strategy for corrective and enhancement system changes.
Combines technical analysis/solutions with consideration for the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment to arrive at mutually beneficial solutions.
Emphasis on identification and fulfillment of customer/user requirements.
Performs responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy.
Bachelor degree in business or computer science; or equivalent related work experience.
Minimum of four years work experience in executing business systems analyst functions similar to those described previously.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating environment, relational database environments and specialized analysis, design and testing tools.
Desirable skills also include experience writing SQL queries against either SQL Server or Oracle databases.
