§ Assist with, and support digital marketing campaigns including: email and e-newsletter communications, SMS communications, automated nurturing.
§ Generate reports using marketing automation tools to support stakeholders tracking marketing campaign ROI
§ Assist with email list and database segmentation
§ Report key metrics of digital marketing campaigns
§ Email account maintenance, and preference center maintenance
§ Create HTML emails using digital automation tools. Review with stakeholders for final approvals.
§ Assist users and stakeholders with technical issues – first-level technical support for email and process issues.
§ Maintain email calendar and email metrics compilations.
Skills / Qualifications:
§ Up to 2 years experience in email marketing; direct marketing; interactive marketing; some knowledge or experience with an email platform or provider, or marketing automation platform or provider, servicing email marketing campaigns
§ Basic knowledge of a variety of the email marketing concepts, practices, metrics, and procedures
§ Basic database knowledge
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
§ Basic HTML knowledge
§ Strong organization, multi-tasking and editing skills
§ Attention to detail with desire to work hard in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
§ Excellent oral and written communications skills
§ Analytical and numerically-focused, with attention to detail
§ Ability to work independently, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team
§ Experience with web analytics packages a plus
§ Work with supervision on deliverables for email marketing campaigns: one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic-content driven.
§ Create and edit HTML including web forms and emails.
§ Create and edit online forms
§ Understanding the technical platforms on which digital marketing campaigns are built, automated and executed;
§ Perform deliverability testing & monitoring, and results reporting using standard tools
§ Seek guidance and direction on CAN-SPAM, Safe Harbor and other email-related guidelines, privacy and other industry regulations to ensure 100% compliance.
§ Gain experience and familiarity with email best practices around content and delivery of outbound emails
§ Compile data from email database for analysis and reporting; and, convert into tables and charts using Excel and PowerPoint.
§ Develop and maintain favorable relationships with internal global stakeholders, ensuring their needs and goals are consistently met.
§ Understand the role of marketing automation and how it works in combination with and supports the other marketing and sales channels.
§ Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of email accounts.
§ Support other online initiatives as needed, such as SEO, SEM, web metrics and web content deployment.
