ECR Scrum Master

Location: Bothell WA
Duration: 6 Months+

 Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers 
 Guiding the team on how to get the most of out self-forming and self-organization 
 Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks 
 Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization 
 Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment 
 Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility 
 Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving 
 Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work 
 Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution 
 Help drive best practice use of the agile methodology as a core to the development life cycle. 
 Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information 
 Assist product teams with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition. 
 Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools and best practices 
 Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog 
 Proactively identify potential problems, risks, and issues and demonstrate course correction response utilizing Agile principles and practices 
 Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example 
 Provide 1-to-1 coaching to team members 
 Mentor and develop the Agile/SAFe competency within the team they have the honor to support 
 Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication Skills 
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: 
 • 5+ years of Agile Experience 
 • 2+ years of experience working in SAFe and/or agile device development environment 
 • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferable 
 • Hands-on experience using Agile Lifecycle Management (ALMs) Tools 
 • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
 • Results oriented, self-starter with strong servant leadership skills 
 • Ability to communicate with management and provide clear and structured management reporting 
 • Experience developing software, systems, products and/or devices leveraging the Agile Framework
