MUST HAVE: AUTOCAD ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE, CONTROL CABINET WIRING and DESIGN EXPERIENCE, PLC PROGRAMMING/CONTROL IMPLEMENTATION
Essential Responsibilities
• Effectively communicate with New Product Introduction project teams for successful implementation of projects
• Actively participate as a key program team member with all functions: Design, Purchasing and Manufacturing
• Creates and manages project work-scope, change management, and critical path schedule on assigned project
• Creates execution strategy for assigned projects
• Effectively communicates technical information to a wide range of audiences
• Implement automation including setting up hardware and PLC software
• Collaborates with sources to establish plant layouts, product flow, and assembly line flow
• Understands and influences level of challenge and risk (technical, schedule, cost) on a project
Qualifications/Requirements
• Associate of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• A minimum of 2 years prior manufacturing experience in the following areas:
o Assembly Line Design and Development
o Automation Integration including Robotics
o GE PLC programming
o Manufacturing Execution System Integration
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT: Must be willing to travel globally
Desired Characteristics
• LEAN Automation experience or working knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing
• Excellent project tracking and detailed planning skills
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer oriented mindset
• Ability to work within a cross functional team environment
• Experience setting up assembly lines with pneumatic or DC screw drivers
• Experience programing GE PLC, and/or in MES systems using GE Proficy software
• Prior experience working cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing
