Description:
Project Controls Engineer:
Implement project controls tools and methodology
Generate resource projection curves based on the resource loaded schedule
Forecast and update man-hour budgets using a work breakdown structure (WBS) account system; report expenditures outside the budgeted scope
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource loading labor hours to schedule activities
Prepares schedule, staffing, and quantity progress and performance reports, as needed.
Performs performance monitoring and coordinates trends, when required.
Assists with the development, review, and issuance of the monthly project reports.
Qualifications:
Must have BA/BS degree in related field and at least one year of related experience, OR, in lieu of degree, at least 7 years of directly related work experience.
Skilled in oral and written communication.
Demonstrates an intermediate level understanding of Project Controls general technical skills.
Proficiency with both Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software
Experience in performing schedule monitoring, report writing, and computer operations.
Knowledge of engineering and construction management
Experience with EPC project principles and procedures
