This position is within DIG Enterprise supporting the existing SAP ECC system within the Power Generation Service Division, Americas region. The individual will be a Business Support resource handling production issues experienced by the user community when using SAP ECC. The business users will raise the issue to their Power User for resolution and if they cannot resolve they will escalate to DIG ENT. The individual will handle issues across the various business process areas being used within SAP ECC to handle their daily job functions (i.e. Order-to-Cash, Purchase to Pay, Inventory Management, Warehouse, Materials Management, Finance, and Logistics. When issues are raised via our central inbox, the person will need to investigate and apply their troubleshooting skills to give guidance and resolution back to end users or escalate to the appropriate IT resources. Help with coordinating the testing of changes in our Development and Quality instances with the power users. Participate in Power User Community meetings and minor enhancement status meetings with the business Process Improvement Team (as required).
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Possess at least 3 years of working experience with SAP as a functional team member within project implementations or providing post go live support. Very good written and oral communication skills. Previously worked within a cross-functional team and viewed as a team player. Must be able to take direction from the team lead or supervisor. Must be comfortable interacting with all levels of operational management. A strong aptitude for technical knowledge and comfortable using an ERP system( Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.).
EDUCATION: Prefer an bachelor's degree. Previous Six Sigma/Lean experience (helpful)
