DESCRIPTION
| | Analog design engineer will be responsible for engineering of analog modules for E-beam metrology tools. The main responsibilities are as follows: · Work with sub-system architect, derive EPS, TPS and EDS for specific analog module · • Design ultra low noise wideband amplifier with both excellent frequency domain and time domain response for HMI e-beam inspection tools · • Design signal conditioning circuit for ADC and DAC for HMI e-beam inspection tools · • Conduct schematic capture, circuit simulation, PCB layout · • Prepare technical documents for module manufacture and release. · • Conduct module prototyping, debug, and full function bench test · • Support sub-system level and system level integration
REQUIREMENTS
| | Ph.D. with 2+ years of hands-on experiences, or master with 5+ years hands-on experiences, or bachelor with 8+ years hands-on experiences, in electrical engineering or related fields. Hands-on experiences of schematic capture, schematic level simulation, PCB layout, PCB level simulation, prototyping, and problem solving. Familiar with test equipments such as multi-meter, SMU, signal / function generator, oscilloscope, signal / spectral analyzer, and network analyzer. The successful candidate should be a team player and should have self motivation, initiative, dedication, and strong communication skills. The candidate should also have the following specific skills or experiences. · OPA circuit (board level) design and building experiences. OPA application experiences · High Performance Signal Conditioning circuit design and building experience for test equipment, including but not limited to ultra low noice wideband voltage/current/ transimpedance amplifier, ADC driver and cable driver. · Ultra low noise wideband variable gain amplifier circuit (board level) design and building experience. · Ultra low noise wideband analog switch (board level) design and building experiences · High speed voltage comparator application experiences · High speed ADC and DAC (beyond 100Ms/s) application experiences · knowledge and experiences of signal integrity and power integrity · Mixed signal circuit (board level) design and building experiences · Knowledge of BJT, JFET and MOSFET for both switch mode and linear operation · Knowledge of device physics for the semiconductor devices such as PIN and APD for charged particle detection is a plus · Knowledge and experiences of board level and module level shielding and grounding is a plus |
