Job Title: Associate Line Construction & Maintenance Administrator
Duration: 3+ months with possible extension
Location: Winnemucca, NV
Provides process and coordination of all activities related to the construction, maintenance, operation and restoration of the underground and overhead distribution and transmission systems. Supports effects to ensure safe, efficient and effective utilization of department resources. Monitors and coordinates departmental activities and resources including work crew personnel. Serves as the primary customer contact for information on outage schedules and procedures. Assist in the department planning and budgeting process by identifying and justifying tool, equipment, and personnel needs. Evaluates and recommends process improvements and integration of technologies. May be required to perform Duty Supervisor responsibilities including vehicle accident investigations and administering the Post-Accident Testing Policy. Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed. Essential Education, Skills, Equipment: Bachelor degree in engineering or related field from an accredited school (or) journeyman lineman certification. Candidates that do not possess a bachelor degree (or) journeyman line certification must have 4 years of related work experience. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of utility line construction, operating, and maintenance practices and industry concepts and standards. Demonstrated knowledge of applicable safety and compliance regulations affective the area of operation. Demonstrated organization and time management skills. Demonstrated skills to communicate effectively with diverse population. Equipment and Applications: PC, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
