Foreclosure Coordinator

Duration:  2 months with hpossible extension

Individual is responsible for preparing and/or sending manual breach letters and other state specific pre-foreclosure letters in a timely fashion in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

In addition, this individual is responsible for reviewing loans that may be eligible for foreclosure to determine from a legal standpoint whether they can be referred to foreclosure and referring them to foreclosure in a timely fashion in accordance with applicable law.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure all appropriate letters get printed/imaged; create manual letters when needed/requested and additional duties in relation to the pre-foreclosure process
Process state specific letters to include registration, when applicable
Send various standardized letters to customers via First Class and/or Certified Mail w Return Receipt Requested
Review/research manual breach request from other departments to ensure their validity
Adhere to the pre-foreclosure areas policies and procedures and compliance requirements
Assist in initial review of loans for foreclosure referral
Handle special projects as assigned

 Skills/Knowledge Requirements: 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills: knowledge of Word, Excel, and basic Access.
Willingness and aptitude to learn new tasks.

 Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma. ? 1-2 years of clerical experience
