Order Processing Specialist
Accurately process EDI and manual orders using the SAP system.
Communicate with business partners to ensure products are set up and available to process. If there are discrepancies involving these areas, work with business partners to resolve.
Once orders are processed, work with internal and external 3rd party logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery to customer.
Key duties include:
Order Processing – accurately and efficiently process customer orders using SAP system
Reporting - order, delivery and customer performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Communication - proactive status updates, respond to questions, drive improvements through fact-based data presented in a professional manner
Issue Resolution – resolve any issues impeding order processing and delivery
Customer Service – decisions made in the best interest of the customer; customer centric mindset
Analyze and troubleshoot data - including customer scorecards and other “voice of the customer” tools to drive improvement of metrics and reduce vendor violations for non-compliance
KPI metric achievement - Ensuring service level of customer is met and/or exceeded
Skills needed
3- 5 years relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree required
SAP knowledge and experience a must
Microsoft Excel a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Critical thinking and analytical skills a must
