Trade-in is the function within Refurbished Systems (RS) that takes care of overseeing the return and procurement of pre-owned imaging systems. Returned systems typically are part of a commercial sale of a new product. Procurement of used equipment is typically the purchase of equipment from a customer or broker to meet business needs. This return and procurement of equipment includes definition, continuous evaluation and communication of Trade-in prices for all existing system types and all IS Businesses (MR, CT, NM, IGT, DXR, US) based on so-called Fair Market Values 
In this role, you have the opportunity to: 
Be part of the leading entity in control of the trade-in of systems that will be refurbished and re-marketed. This role has a direct impact on every trade-in and replacement deal and therefore the order intake for new systems, the revenue and profit margin. 
You are responsible for 
• Execute the Trade-in Desk operations for Markets outside North America concerning coordination of all trade-in equipment (as well as competitive equipment) in an effective and time sensitive manner. 
• Provide excellent customer service to the sales organization and broker network, including 48-hour response time and quality offers. 
• Provide cost-effective, problem solving solutions in a timely manner. 
• Coordinate sales of used equipment to brokers. 
• Maintain contacts with sales organizations and internal Business Units as well as Medical Finance Organizations. 
• Maintain professional contact with international brokers in Europe and the USA about sales of pre-owned equipment. 
• Communicate the pricing between Sales Organizations and Brokers and Refurbished Systems 
• Collect information to initiate de-installation of the system 
• Follow-up on financial closure of projects, also towards Key Market back-offices in the countries 
• Mediate between Key Markets and brokers in case of issues 
• Document all relevant information, and continually monitor the status of all used equipment coming back for refurbishment, as well as equipment being purchased by brokers, to ensure proper trade-in values, terms and conditions are enforced. 
• Support account managers, back-offices and the RS organization concerning trade-in of medical systems 
You are a part of 
A team of 5 Trade-in Desk managers (3 in Best and 2 in Cleveland, OH) and 3 Trade-in managers (2 in Best and 1 in Cleveland. OH). You will be reporting to the Global Director of Trade-in, located in Best with local management by the Trade-in Manager for NA. 
You will be in contact with account managers across in the US and Canada. They are selling new systems to hospitals. Existing equipment in these hospital needs to be replaced and returned. In addition you will be communicating with various other companies that buy and sell medical equipment. 
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Motivated individual with effective verbal and written communication skills (mainly over phone and email). 
• Language skills: English 
• Experience with order processing preferred 
• Basic knowledge of Medical Imaging products desired 
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office: Word & Excel 
• Work style: Accurate and process driven 
• Very good team-player
