Field Operations Specialist

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:  The OFD Field Operations Specialist (FOS) supports OFD transactions in an assigned territory within a region.  The FOS representative is the primary customer and partner facing operations contact for transactions in their assigned territory).
The Field Operations Specialist will provide support for the following tasks working with the NAS Field Operations Representatives.
•           Handle customer service information for transactions with completed Customer Payment Information for small deals
•           Prepare Uniform Commercial Code filings for all hardware transactions
•           Prepare Payment Approval Certificates for Consulting Contracts and send to customers via email
•           Prepare Cloud Customer “Do Not Pay” Alert email and send to customers for small Cloud transactions
•           Contact Oracle Partners for Invoices and completed set up forms
•           Send email communication to customers reaching End of Term for Term and Lease Schedules
•           Contact Oracle Funding partners for customer invoices to be entered in to Customer’s billing Portal
Qualifications:
•           Degree in accounting, finance, economics or business preferred
•           Ability to think analytically, problem solve and focus attention to detail
•           Three to five years customer service experience
•           Knowledge of basic finance concepts (such as discounting cash flows, net present value, internal rate of return, etc) including intermediate Excel skills is helpful.
•           Strong written and verbal communication skills
•           Ability to work independently

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:  Oracle Financing provides financing, leasing and custom payment solutions to customers acquiring Oracle products and solutions from Oracle or an Oracle distribution partner.  Established in 1989, Oracle Financing has over 7,000 customers, provides coverage in over 45 countries and provides solutions to customers of all sizes.
