Chief Marketing Officer

A-Player is an executive search boutique. Our goal is to deliver great entrepreneur minded players to fast growing corporations through a proprietary assessment methodology that offers insight into a candidate’s potential.

Our client is the leader platform for influence marketing, and they are looking for their Chief Marketing Officer.
 
Attached to the CEO and member of the Management Committee, you will participate in the development and 
implementation of the marketing and communication strategy. 

You build your action plan and ensure its operational implementation with your teams.
 
Your objective is to implement the creative, innovative and effective marketing and communication means in 
B2B that will support the exponential development of our business in France and abroad. 
Your team will consist of about ten collaborators. 
True manager and facilitator of the marketing and communication team on a daily basis, you set up a dynamic 
and motivating management.
 
Leader, entrepreneur in the soul and constant strength of proposal are the essential qualities to succeed 
in this position.
Here is a summary - not exhaustive - of the proposed missions:
 
Marketing and communication strategy:
- Conception and formalization of the marketing and communication strategy
- Identification of strategic and operational issues
- Definition of the strategic orientations of the communication of the company in terms of image, visibility, 
media, editorial and visual strategy
- Challenge and collaboration with the product team to optimize the product / market fit
- Definition of a strategy of partnerships to enrich the offer
- Recruitment and management of the marketing and communication team

Operational Marketing :
- Identification and activation of digital marketing levers: acquisition, activation, retention, referral, revenue
- Definition and implementation of the pricing strategy
- In collaboration with the Sales team, definition and implementation of the distribution strategy 
(channels, direct, indirect, partnerships, ...)
- Definition and implementation of the product communication strategy
- Reporting, process monitoring and marketing and communication performance analysis
 
Communication:
- Communication on the evolution of the offer and the brand (s) with stakeholders (advertisers, agencies, investors, ...)
- Speaking on events in France and abroad


Required profile
 
- Higher Education (Business School or Engineering School)
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Marketing Direction in AdTech environment, ideally in B2B
- Managerial experience
- Black belt in social networks
- Dynamic, pedagogue, with excellent relationship, customer service oriented
- English fluent
- Entrepreneur and doer mindset (ability to be operational and to have strategic thinking)
- Analytical, ROIste and with excellent business sense
