Overview:
As a Regional Manager with Apex Dental Partners, you are a key player who ensures that fundamental systems and protocols are in place within your supported practices, allowing the doctors and clinical team to focus on patient care. The Regional Manager forms a tight alliance with their supported doctors, serving as the business leader of the practice(s) they cover. You are the main point of contact between the practice and the Apex Support Center team, who ensures that you are equipped to deliver results each and every day by handling things like HR, marketing, IT, accounting and other back office functions, as well as ongoing training, practice and staff development programs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a laser-focus on inspiring and empowering your practice teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience on every appointment
- Ensure the business success of your supported practices through strong leadership and practice development. Accomplish this goal by:
- Building strong and productive partnerships with dentists and affiliated practice teams by meeting with affiliated dentists at least once per quarter and holding monthly team meetings at each practice
- Keeping a clear channel of communication with the doctors - keeping them informed of progress, soliciting their input and ensuring they are engaged in their leadership role in the practice
- Working with the front office team to maintain a full schedule and exceed office goals for collections, no-show rates, and net promoter scores
- Monitoring practice vital signs including production, collections, and other key performance indicators
- Reviewing and managing supply budgets with clinical team
- Handling any and all non-clinical questions/issues with the practice (repairs, PTO requests, staffing, administrative items, insurance payor relations, etc), making use of your resources from the Apex Support Center team as needed
- Supporting the Marketing team in their efforts to generate new patient flow to your practices by fostering a positive reputation, online and off
- Support practice team member success and satisfaction by:
- Providing clear expectations and the necessary tools and resources to achieve those expectations
- Measuring results and providing timely feedback on performance
- Fostering the Apex work-family culture
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure effective execution of operational standards, including compliance with established Apex company policies/protocol, OSHA, and governmental regulations
- Be an agent for positive change
- Work with Director of Operations to implement new systems/protocols into affiliated practices
- Work with Director of Operations during the onboarding of a new practice to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the Apex family
Requirements
The right candidate for this position must:
- have sufficient experience managing all aspects of the dental office (preferably a large practice or multi-location).
