Job Description
  
We are seeking a Services Product Manager to help bring Aperia’s IOT-based service products to the commercial vehicle market. We are searching for a candidate capable of understanding customer needs and insights, prototyping user experiences, and working with the rest of the organization to develop and launch service products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business or product management and some exposure to product marketing. The candidate must have a desire to constantly learn, generate new ideas, and remain focused on the customer.
 
Essential Responsibilities
  • Identify high-value, customer research-backed business opportunities that align with Aperia's strategic roadmap and core competencies; pitch opportunities to key stakeholders to win implementation approval. 
  • Work with partners to conceive and develop new services and business models that effectively leverage Aperia’s and the partner’s core competencies.
  • Drive high-quality product design and implementation by working with UX/UI, Business Development, & Engineering teams to identify product features that meet key user/stakeholder needs.
  • Engage and test with users/customers to ground decisions and designs in strong customer insights.
  • Maximize the value delivered through Aperia’s service products by ensuring the product solutions represent the optimal mix of product value, feasibility, and user experience.
  • Align key internal and external partners around the product vision and product roadmap
  • Clearly & consistently communicate the key competitive & value drivers to the organization.

Qualifications
  • BS degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or a related field
  • MS degree, MBA, and/or startup experience preferred
  • 2+ years of work experience in Product Management, Consulting, or Business Development
  • Experience delivering a major product from start to finish
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, strong analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
  • Ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Comprehends and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty
  • Excellent customer experience intuition with substantial experience with face-to-face customer interactions
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills
  • Advanced Office software skills, especially with spreadsheets and presentations
