Support Engineer

We are seeking a Support Engineer to join our Customer Success team and be on the front line working with AnswerRocket’s end users to drive customer satisfaction and success. 
 
What You’ll Do

  • Handle technical support issues for our customers
  • Train customers in use and maintenance of software, answer questions, and provide technical assistance as needed
  • Collaborating with implementation and development teams internally

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline 
  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, software implementation, or related customer-facing role
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL (i.e writing queries, understanding joins, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and support workflow
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline 
  • Capability of building cross-functional business relationships within the customer organization
  • Strong understanding of AnswerRocket implementation and training process (gained through training)
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills in variety of forms (written, live chat, conference calls, in-person)
  • Curiosity and an ability to quickly understand the customers’ businesses, their business language, and business model
  • Possess a “customer first” attitude
