Facility Security Specialist

The Facility Security Specialist’s primary responsibility will be to provide access control and reception center support for a secure facility on Ft. Belvoir. Job duties may include processing Visit Requests, responding to personnel security inquiries, overseeing classified visitor and meeting activities, and transmitting and receiving classified materials via mail, fax, hand carry, or classified network.

Requirements:

·       Experience in the facility security
·       Excellent organization skills
·       Attention to detail
·       Exceptional customer service skills
·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·       The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
·       Active Secret clearance

Preferred:

·       A Bachelor’s degree
·       Experience using Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to support access control requirements
