Director of Cyber Operations

We are currently seeking an energetic, driven, innovative and experienced leader to join a lean, agile company that develops highly specialized technical customer solutions. Your primary role will be to enhance our cyber capabilities, grow our existing customer base, and onboard new customers ensuring they have mission success using our solutions. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for the Cyber Security operations at AnaVation. You will be held accountable for the strategic direction, management, and oversight of the cyber security business portfolio. In addition, this role will plan and recommend business development and marketing strategies to achieve maximum customer and market penetration consistent with business unit financial objectives and to drive organic and strategic growth. This role will also indirectly lead, in matrix fashion, the business development activities for cyber, including proposal support.
Responsibilities:
· You will develop the cyber security strategy for AnaVation.
· Define the cyber road map in the short, mid and long-term incorporating customer needs
· You will set strategic direction, policies and best practices for the portfolio
· You will maintain year over year portfolio revenue and growth
· You will be accountable for contract actions, renewals, and the development of proposals
· You will ensure quality delivery on current projects on time and on budget
· You will build strong client relationships and act as the client's trusted advisor
· You will provide leadership on new and existing projects
· You will work with customers, peers and engineers to gather requirements and come up with solutions to challenging and complex problems
· You will oversee the delivery of the solutions to your customers and ensure that the solutions meet the customer’s needs
· You will recommend courses of action, technology, technical solutions, long-term vision, and vision for future product growth
· You will contribute to the development of detailed proposals
· You will contribute to strategic planning and business growth goals
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, plus ten years’ experience in related scope of work, five of which must have been in a leadership position, encompassing significant leadership responsibility within Cyber Security, Computer Science, Program Management, Production Management, Business Development, or Project Engineering discipline.
· Work Experience must encompass in-depth knowledge of and background within the cyber security field
· Proven track record in managing a P&L; proven contract and financial management and business development success with complex IT solutions programs in a government contracting environment.
· Demonstrated and experienced leadership with progressively increasing management responsibility of employees in a high profile, fast paced, growing company
· Executive level leadership, organizational, communication and presentation skills required, including experience with customer and contract negotiations
· Positive attitude and a natural communicator and influencer, using such strengths in often difficult and complex situations. Strong leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills.
· Obtain/ maintain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position
